Gwybodaeth bellach

J. T. C. Vincent was part of the 2nd Battalion of the Welsh Regiment, which was stationed at Bordon as part of the 3rd Brigade of the 1st Division in August 1914. The 2nd Battalion was mobilised for war, landed at Havre and engaged in various actions on the Western Front including the Battle of Mons, the Battle of the Marne, the Battle of the Aisne and the First Battle of Ypres. J. T. C. Vincent’s Battalion engaged in the Battle of Aubers and it is likely that he died during this offensive.
