Powell of Nanteos/ and grandson of WILLIAM BEAUCLERK POWELL of Nanteos/ & Sir PRYSE PRYSE Bart. of Gogerddan/ BORN MARCH 8th 1899 & KILLED NEAR BUVIGNIES IN FRANCE NOV. 6th 1918/ WHILE GALLANTLY LEADING HIS MEN IN ACTION./ Brave, Kid and true, he endeared himself to all/ during his short life, and died as he had lived,/ a true and very gallant Welsh gentleman./ "MIL GWELL YW MARW'N FACHGEN DEWR, / NA BYW YN FACHGEN LLWFR!"
