Description

The National Library of Wales is one of the world’s great libraries. It holds a vast collection of books, rare manuscripts, archives, paintings and maps, and hosts a regular programme of events and exhibitions exploring the heritage and culture of Wales and the Celtic nations. The Library is also home the National Screen and Sound Archive of Wales, which contains films, television programmes, videos, sound recordings and music relating to Wales and the Welsh people. NLW has a dedicated Education Service that produces resources and workshops for teachers and educators, pupils and students, and people of all ages that want to learn more about the Library's collections.
